3
The Possessed Girl

A Holy priest called Fr. Jean was giving a sermon in Lenten season in France. there was a possessed girl in the crowd. after exorcising her several times, the devils refused to leave. then he put his rosary around her neck. She started to shriek and shout saying, "Take them off, Take them off, these beads are torturing me." Having pity for her, the father took the rosary off her.

the same night, the devils came when he was in bed, foaming with rage and tried to get hold of him. he had his rosary clasped in hand and they could not not take it away form him. he then managed to beat them away with the rosary crying out, "Holy Mary, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary come to my help."

He went to the church next day and met the possessed girl and one of the devils within her started to laugh and said in a mocking voice, "Well brother if you had been without your rosary, we should have made short shrift of you". Then the Father Threw the rosary around the girl's neck and said, "By the sacred name of Jesus and that of Mary his HOly Mother, and by the power of the Most Holy Rosary I command you evil spirits to leave the body of this girl" and they were forced to obey and she was delivered from them.

The case of Two Priests

Two priests who were famous for their eloquent sermons became jealous of the preaching of the Rosary and going to the Fraternity of Rosary they succeeded to prevent many to be converted by their fame and arguments.

One of them very determined to stop the rosary wrote a sermon against the rosary to preach the following Sunday. However when the time of sermon came, he never turned up. Therefore somebody went to search for him. However he was found dead.

Therefore, the 2nd priest assumed that his friend died of natural cause prepared another sermon against the Rosary. However the day he was supposed to deliver the sermon he was struck with paralysis and his ability of speech was lost.

At last he admitted his scheme and sinfulness and confessed what he and his friend priest wanted to do. He begged to the heavenly mother to forgive him and heal him and promised that he will preach the Rosary with much vigor and love to promote the Rosary Fraternity.

He was healed and he immediately embarked on the preaching of the Rosary.

Miracles of The Rosary of the

Blessed Virgin Mary

(ADAPTED FROM THE SECRET OF THE ROSARY BY ST. MARIE LUIS MONTEFORT)

The modern world is engrossed in the material achievement, worldly pleasures and fully paralyzed by the poison of Sin injected by Satan. The modernism has virtually overthrown faith, morality and GOD in daily life. Devotions, Sacraments, Eucharist and Love of GOD have taken last seat in the life of modern civilization. World has chosen mammon.

In this condition of Spiritual fatality, there is still hope through Blessed Virgin Mother of GOD, Mary, who has helped the faithful and the Church on many occasions. Through the Holy Rosary she has shown us that we can be liberated from all curses of the world and the traps laid by Satan who seeks the destruction of souls. Mary has given us hope and given us salvation by giving Jesus to us. Mary is our Hope.

The following testimonies on the Holy Rosary will bring great joy and renewal of faith and help the conversion of many souls, whom GOD has chosen to be saved. Rosary is the greatest weapon our Blessed Mother has given to the faithful to overcome every problem of this world. The Rosary recited with meditation of mysteries produce marvelous results. The salient effect of the rosary in our life is as follows:

1. Gradually gives us a perfect knowledge of Jesus Christ.

2. Purifies our souls washing away sin.

3. It gives victory over al lour enemies.

4. Makes it easy for us to practice virtue.

5. It sets us on fire with love for our Blessed Lord.

6. It enriches us with graces and merits.

7. Supplies us with what is needed to pay all our debts to GOD and to his fellow men and finally obtain all kind of graces for us from Almighty God.

Our Blessed Mother instructed St. Dominic to preach the rosary in 1214. The rosary that we recite today was given to the holy Catholic Church by St. Dominic. The church was undergoing serious crises due to sinfulness and conversions were difficult due to heresies and fatal errors. St. Dominic prayed for 3 days and 3 nights, his body was lacerated and he fell into coma.

At this point our Blessed Virgin Mother appeared with 3 angles and told him, “Dear Dominic, do you know which weapon the Blessed Trinity wants to use to reform the world? I want you to know that in this kind of warfare the battering ram has always been the Angelic Plaster (Rosary) which is the foundation stone of the New Testament. Therefore, if you want to reach the hardened souls and win them to GOD, preach my plaster (rosary)”.

1

The possessed Heretic

While St. Dominic was preaching Holy Rosary in Carcasone, a heretic made fun of the miracle and 15 decades of the Rosary, which prevented others to be converted. As a punishment GOD allowed 15, 000 demons to enter the body of the heretic. His parents took him to St. Dominic to drive away the evil spirits from him. St. Dominic started to pray and begged everyone who was there to say the Rosary aloud with him and, with every Hail Mary, Our Lady drove away 100 devils out of the heretic’s body and they came out in the form of red hot coals. The Heretic was saved. He begged pardon from GOD and was saved.

In this writing, I narrate the miracles and testimonies of the Rosary so that many will be convinced and embrace the Holy Rosary to save themselves and others and for the Salvation of all souls.

Why pray the Rosary?

When I was a boy I used to watch my father stooped across a chair as we all knelt saying the family rosary, my mother beside him. Somehow, you expect your mother to be a person of prayer, but there is something powerfully impressive about watching your father at prayer. It is an image that has stayed with me all my life and, to this day, it had been the best sermon I have ever “heard” on prayer.

The greatness of the rosary lies in its power to help us walk in the footsteps of Jesus. It draws us into those eternal moments in the life of Christ. In each mystery we gaze, as through a window, to contemplate with Mary the life and mysteries of hers son. As at all her great shrines, Mary is never concerned to draw her children to herself but to her son, we recite the hail Marys and gaze on Jesus who allows us to be with him at each moment from the Annunciation to the crowing of his mother as Queen.

The rosary, like the cycle of the liturgical year, follows Jesus from the events of his young life – the joyful mysteries; through his Passion and death – the sorrowful mysteries culminating in his glorious Resurrection, Pentecost, and the final glorification of Mary, “a woman clothed with the sun” (Rev 12:1) and recently, luminous mysteries has been added which deals with the public ministry of Jesus. For simplicity and depth it would be hard to imagine a more perfect prayer. As we finger the beads and recite the Hail Marys the words of Scriptures pass before our mind and we drink from “ a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (Jn 4:14) and “our hearts burning within us” (Lk 24:32).

Some years ago I called on a friend of mine. His wife told me that he was in the room. What she didn’t tell me was that he was with his 10 year old son teaching him how to pray the rosary. I would be willing to be that little boy will never forget how to pray the rosary as long as he lives. Sadly, there are so many today who do not know how to say this wonderful prayer. Dare we hope that families might begin to pray the rosary once more?

The rosary is everyone’s prayer. Princes and presidents, rich and poor, young and old, saints and sinners, all find in it a way of praying that is simple and yet profound. Our Blessed Mother loves this prayer. Padre Pio said that “the rosary is like a great sword that Mary puts into the hands of her children to defend themselves against the evil one”. Very many people, including myself, have found this to be true. Our Blessed Mother does help us in moments of spiritual combat. The powers of darkness fear her and flee from her presence.

Everyone has a personal approach to this prayer. I like to say it in a quite place on my own. I keep a rosary in my right hand pocket and I pray it as I stand in line or wait for planes or trains or whatever it may be. Families should pray it in the home with an image of Mary, a lighted candle, and with each member being asked to do his or her part.

German speaking peoples have the custom of adding a phrase after the name of “Jesus” in the first half of the Hail Mary. This phrase helps them to keep in mind the theme of each decade; for example “…thy womb, Jesus, to whom you, gave birth”, “…..thy womb, Jesus, who was crucified for us” or “…thy womb, Jesus, who crowned you, Virgin Mary, in heaven.” Personally, I have found this an extremely helpful way of keeping my mind at rest while mediating on each mystery.

And, of course, the rosary had a definite therapeutic effect. When you find prayer difficult, the rosary will help you; it will pray for you; it will quieten your distracted mind or calm your troubled soul and bring you to calmness and serenity. In fact, according to a study in the British Medical Journal, reciting the rosary could improve your cardiovascular well-being. Seemingly it has the effect of synchronizing respiratory and cardiac rhythms which, as everyone knows, could only be good for you.

A MONTH WITH OUR BLESSED MOTHER - ' MOTHER OF HOPE LEAD US ON OUR WAY' (JULY 15TH -AUGUST 15TH) KJC

Dear friends!

Thanks for praying for the 2nd year brothers. We are sure that you have made a new friend today!

Intention for 25th July: Please pray for 1st year brothers

Nosegay -for practical living : Try to avoid grumbling.

Mary, Mother of God, holds a unique place in the history of salvation. She is the model of prayer and pastoral love, the teacher of wisdom and the guide of our Family. We contemplate and imitate her faith, her concern for the needy, her fidelity at the hour of the cross, and her joy at the wonders wrought by the Father.

Mary Immaculate, Help Christians, leads us to the fullness of our offering to the Lord and gives us courage for the service of our brethren.

We develope a strong filial devotion to her. We recite the rosary each day and celebrate her feasts to encourage a more convinced and personal imitation.
(Article 92, Constitutions of the Society of St Francis de Sales)

As we commemorate Our Mother Mary's day every 24th of the month we would like to share you the comparison of Mary's revolution with the Revolution of Marx and Communism.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF REVOLUTION

Mary

Mary begins with the soul and god. “My soul magnifies the Lord; my spirit has found joy in God who is my saviour.” The whole universe revolves around these two realities: the soul aspiring to an infirmity of happiness which God alone can supply.

Marx

Marx ended the first of his books with the word: “i hate the entire god.” From communism there is only matter endowed with its own inner contradiction which begets movement. Since there is only matter, there is no soul. The belief that each man has value, “ is founded,” and Marx, “on the Christian illusion that every man has a soul. There is no God, because a belief in God alienates man from himself and makes him subject to someone outside self. There is no God, but man, “Religion is the Opium of the People.”

THE FUTURE OF REVOLUTION

Mary

“All generations will count me blessed.” She will be an exception to the law of forgetfulness, because the Lord of History has willed that she be venerated through the centuries. History providentially determined. The progress and fall of civilizations is due to the moral ordering of human life. Peace is the tranquillity of order, and order implies justice of God and neighbour. Peace fails when each man seeks his own and forgets the love of God and Neighbour.

Marx

History is dialectically determined. It is not God, nor does the way men live that decide the progress and decay of civilization, but a law of class conflict which continues until Communism takes over and classes no longer exist. The future is determined by matter. The present generation and all the past can look to a remote future where they will dance on the grave of their ancestors. Certain classes are destined to be the funeral pyre to light future generations, lifting clenched fists over the corpse of Lenin.

FEAR AND REVOLUTION

Mary

“He has mercy upon those who fear Him, from generation to generation.” Fear is here understood as filial, namely, a shrinking from hurting one who is loved. Such is the fear a son has for a devoted father, and the fear a Christian has of Christ. Fear is here related to love.

Marx

Communism is founded not on filial but on servile fear, the kind of fear a slave has for a tyrant, a worker has for a dictator. The fear begotten by the revolution is a compulsion neurosis, born not of love bur power. A revolution which destroys filial fear of God always ends in the creation of servile fear of man.

TECHNIQUE OF REVOLUTION

Both Mary and Marx advocate the exaltation of the poor, the dethroning of the proud, the emptying of the rich in favour of the socially disinherited, but they differ in their technique.

Mary

Violence is necessary. “The kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence.” But the violence must be against self, against its selfishness, greed, lust and pride.

The sword that strikes must be thrust inward to rid onself of all that would make one despise neighbour.

The transfer of wealth, which makes for the prosperity of the poor, is inspiring by an inner charity which loves God and neighbour.

Man has nothing to lose but the chains of sin, which darkens his intellect and weakens his will. By throwing off sins through the merits of Christ, man become a child of God, an heir of Heaven, enjoying inner peace in this life and even amidst its trials, and an ultimate and final ecstasy of love in heaven.

Marx

Violence is necessary. But the violence must be against neighbour, against those who own, who believe in God, and in democracy. Egotism must be disguised as social justice.

The sword that strikes must be thrust outward to rid society of all that would despise a revolution based on hate.

The transfer of wealth takes place through “violence confiscation” and the shifting of booty and loot from one man’s pocket to another.

Man has nothing to lose but the chains which bind him to God and to property. Thanks, then, to atheism and socialism, man will be restored to himself as the true God.
